Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Koinonia OS. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms designed to support healthy, secure, and effective ministry management.
Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to or using Koinonia OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a parish, diocese, or other church organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
Service Availability & Responsibilities
- Parish Operations: Koinonia OS provides digital modules for attendance tracking, sacramental logging, financial donations, and educational administration. Users are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents from parishioners for recording their personal data.
- Offline Mode: The system supports offline-first sync. Users are responsible for ensuring that their devices sync periodically to avoid local data loss.
- Usage Guidelines: You agree not to use the services for any unauthorized or illegal activity. You must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials.
Software Licensing & Intellectual Property
Koinonia OS is provided under a subscription license for parish/diocesan use. All intellectual property rights in the software, documentation, and platform remain with Koinonia OS.
Data Integrity and Account Backups
While we implement automated backups and high-availability database replication, organizations are encouraged to periodically export their database files (e.g. member directories and sacramental logs) for local archiving.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the services in the event of persistent violations of these terms. Upon termination, organizations will be provided a grace period to export their data.
